1. Introduction

Shadow Slayer ("the Game", "we", "us") is an idle RPG mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account information: If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and username via Auth0.
Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.

Information collected automatically

Game progress: Your game state (current phase, gold, characters, achievements) stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our servers if you create an account.
Analytics: Gameplay events such as phases completed, items purchased, and session duration, collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the game experience.
Crash reports: Anonymized crash and error reports via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs.
Purchase information: If you make in-app purchases, transaction details are processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of purchases but not your payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the Game
To save and sync your game progress across devices
To process in-app purchases
To improve gameplay balance and fix bugs
To show relevant advertisements (via Google AdMob, if enabled)
To send you daily reward notifications (only if you grant permission)

4. Advertising

The Game may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID (GAID) to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's Google settings. If you purchase "Remove Ads", no advertisements will be shown.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Auth0 — for authentication (auth0.com)
Firebase / Google — for analytics and crash reporting
RevenueCat — for in-app purchase management
Google AdMob — for advertising
Google Play — for payment processing

6. Data Retention

Local game data is stored on your device until you uninstall the app or reset game data. Cloud save data is retained for as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained according to Firebase's standard retention policies (14 months by default).

7. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You may:

Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account
Export your game data by contacting us
Opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
Contact us for any privacy-related requests

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for data in transit and secure storage for credentials. Game progress is stored in Android's encrypted secure storage.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
